After Hours:
We are on call for internet issues that affect the entire dorm network only. Please notify Security at ext. 4444 and provide your name, dorm number and the issue and they will contact the on call technician.
The Dorm Internet/Network:
In each dorm bedroom resides a network jack. Plugging a CAT5 network cable into this jack will automatically give you internet access. Most PCs now a days have Ethernet cards built in, however, you must supply your own Cat 5 network cable which looks a bit bigger than a phone cable. If you will be living in Augustine Hall, a network jack is conveniently located underneath the desk (we suggest a network cable shorter than 8ft). If you will be living in one of the townhouses (dorms 1-43), a network jack is located in the middle of the bedroom to share with your roommate (we suggest a network cable around 15ft). For these dorms your R/A will issue you a hub so you can share this connection.
