Terms and Conditions
Booking Policy and Charges
Please notify us 10 business days in advance for all large events, banquets, dinners and receptions. A minimum of 3 business days notice is required for small refreshment or cold food orders.
Cancellation Charges:
48 hours or less – 75% of the invoice will be charged
48 to 72 hours – 40% of the invoice will be charged
Please note if Redeemer University College closes due to inclement weather, a cancellation fee will not be applied. Otherwise, regular fees are applicable.
Please contact us as soon as possible when you are canceling an order due to inclement weather. An alternate date for your event may be arranged pending the availability of dates.
Guaranteed Numbers and Menu Selections
Menu selections are required 30 days and food numbers are to be finalized 10 business days in advance for all food orders, including cold food and receptions as well as linen orders. For emergency last-minute orders, please contact us to see if we can accommodate your needs.
Pricing
All menu items are subject to HST. Prices and food selection are subject to change without notice. Customized menus are available and need to be discussed in advance of the event.
Food Policies
Redeemer Food Services has exclusive rights to all catering services on campus and no external food or outside catering can be brought into or around the academic building.
Delivery charges may be applied to your order for service outside the academic building such as the President’s Guest House or the Recreation Centre.
Several choices in the menu have minimum order numbers. A surcharge of $3.00 per person will be applied for orders below the minimum.
Due to health regulations and proper food safety guidelines, food or beverages that are not consumed at the end of the event may not be removed by the customer or guests.
We will do our best to accommodate allergies and special dietary needs. The event planner should be informed at least 2 weeks in advance of the event of any allergies or special dietary needs. Redeemer is not a nut free facility and cannot guarantee that food will not come in contact or cross contaminate with nut products in the kitchen while the food is being prepared. It is the responsibility of the organizer to inform guests that we are not a nut free facility and take precautionary measures to ensure the safety of the person with allergies.

Redeemer Food Services is fully staffed to personally service your catering needs. Our in-house chef prepares all meals on site using quality, fresh food.
