Redeemer University College Theatre Arts and Music Departments are pleased to present Rodgers and Hammerstein's well-loved musical South Pacific.
South Pacific is the story of American military personnel stationed on an island in the South Pacific during the Second World War, and what happens when their lives become intertwined with the local people of the island. The musical promises to be a hit for fans of all ages as it combines award-winning Broadway musical numbers, dancing, historical references, and humour on a colourful and elaborate stage. It is considered by most critics to be among the greatest musicals of the twentieth century, featuring such well-known songs as Some Enchanted Evening, and I'm Gonna Wash That Man Right Out of My Hair.
The play is directed by Raymond Louter, with musical direction by Paul Thorlakson.
