Business Department
What does it mean for you, as a Christian, to be an employee or a manager? What does it mean to be competitive, while striving for integrity? How do you balance productivity with human dignity in designing jobs? What does it mean to empower employees and to be a servant leader? How do you stimulate interest in your company’s products while preserving honesty in advertising? How do you accurately measure an organization’s performance from a variety of perspectives, including financial, social and environmental? You will learn to answer these and many other important questions as a business student at Redeemer.

Why Business at Redeemer?

Principled, Passionate and Prepared — that’s how our business students have been described by employers.  You will receive the foundation and tools needed to fulfill your call to business with integrity, to the glory of God.

How does Redeemer achieve this?
  • Small class sizes foster interaction and student participation.
  • Frequent opportunities to work in teams simulate real-world working situations.
  • Co-op work terms, internships, classroom simulations and client projects provide experiential learning opportunities.
  • Three streams — Accounting, Marketing, and General Management — allow you to specialize in your field of interest.
  • Both inside and outside of the classroom, professors provide valuable insights and guidance from their own business experiences to help prepare you for challenges in the workplace.
  • The business curriculum is designed to enrich your perspective and understanding of all that has been entrusted to you as a steward of God’s creation in the marketplace.

For over 25 years Redeemer has celebrated the faithfulness and accomplishments of graduates of the Business Department from Ontario, across Canada, the United States and as far away as Europe and Africa.
