The Certificate in Foundational Studies is a one-year certificate program can help you to have an experience at Christian higher education before moving on to the next stage of life, or to provide additional courses in your educational profile.
This certificate is available to both full-time and part-time students. It consists of 10 courses. If a student wishes to be admitted to a one-year certificate program, he/she must satisfy the admission requirements for the degree program. A student may receive only one certificate.
The courses required are as follows:
- REL-101
- REL-131
- REL-201
- HIS-105
- One of HIS-107 or HIS-109
- POL-122
- One of: any English or Fine Arts course
- Three of: any elective courses of your choice
Students may progress from the one-year certificate program (except for the advanced one) into the degree program at Redeemer University College.
