Co-Curricular Highlights
If you wish to participate in the co-operative education program in computer science, you will complete one four-month work term during the summer following your second or third academic year at Redeemer. A second summer work term is optional. These work terms are periods of paid employment related to the computer science field. Employers decide which student(s) they will hire and determine the amount of remuneration.
Currently enrolled students wishing to apply for a summer work-term should seek instructions on the
Co-op Program
webpage.
As opportunity allows, the CS department also encourages students to participate in service projects, especially projects that allow them to exercise their technical skills in service of missions or other charitable organizations. In the past, several CS students have participated in different service projects. A recent
service trip
was made to the University of Mkar in West Africa.
