BACHELOR OF EDUCATION

Concurrent Program
Concurrent Education allows you to complete your Bachelor of Arts or Bachelor of Science and your Bachelor of Education degrees at the same time. Typically, students complete the requirements for both degrees in five years. If you are interested in applying to the Concurrent Education Program, you must first apply online as an undergraduate student at Redeemer.  You may then apply in the fall term of your second or third year. You must present a minimum average of C+, and you will need to complete 25 hours of classroom observation in a school setting. The application process includes an interview with the Department of Education, exploring your particular interests and qualifications towards a career in education.

Consecutive Program
Consecutive Education is a two-year program open to students who have already completed a bachelor’s degree. It involves 15 courses:  a mixture of foundational courses, curriculum studies, and practicum.  For more information about requirements, deadlines and the application process, learn How to Apply.
