What is the English Department like at Redeemer?
Presently, we are the largest Department at Redeemer, with four full-time and nine part-time professors. Twenty percent of Redeemer's student body is taking English as either a major or a minor. Each full-time professor teaches courses from 100-level to 400-level, because we're committed to both the beginner and the specialist senior student.
Our class sizes are relatively small, so you can better learn from your peers and receive personal attention from your professors. All professors in the English Department pursue programs of research, writing and publication in our own fields.
