How does a Christian perspective affect your courses?

Here at Redeemer, we help you to:
  • integrate a love of literature into your Christian understanding.
  • discover how the reading and writing of literature can make a real difference in the world.
  • explore how literature is a good gift of God, and how His "common grace" is present even in material that is confessedly non-Christian.

We believe that each human being is made in the image of God, and so shares in God’s creativity; but each human being is also fallen, and so can neither read nor write in the way that God originally intended. However, we believe that both reading and writing from a Christian perspective involves recognizing God’s continuing work in the world that He loves, and discovering how we can join in. We invite you to come and join us in this exciting enterprise, the active process of reading language and literature through the eyes of Christian faith.
