Learning about the past equips us to more fully engage the present. By studying human societies from different time periods, geographical locations and philosophical worldviews, Redeemer’s history curriculum provides the breadth of knowledge and depth of insight that better enables Christians to act justly, seek mercy, and share peace in a broken world.

Studying history will sharpen your critical thinking skills, strengthen your understanding of human culture and prepare you for a variety of exciting career opportunities. Most importantly, as part of Redeemer’s broader Christian curriculum, the study of history encourages you to develop your intellectual and academic gifts in service to God and to those around you.
