Requirements for Placements (PED 360/361, PED 460/461)
A physical education placement provides students with an opportunity to obtain direct experience in and exposure to some aspect of their area of study outside of the classroom. Placements may be done in a wide variety of areas dealing with physical education such as a physiotherapy clinic, motor performance lab, or recreation centre. The purpose of a placement is to assist students in making career decisions and to prepare them for post-graduate educational and employment opportunities.
