Redeemer University College students are eligible to apply to compressed or accelerated nursing program following degree completion or after their 2nd year of study at Redeemer (provided they meet the criteria set by the respective nursing schools). Students interested in this option should directly contact the appropriate nursing school(s) for more information and consult with the Registrar’s Office at Redeemer.
If a student is interested in applying to a nursing school after their 2nd or 3rd year of study at Redeemer, they must meet the criteria of each individual nursing school program. Please consult the respective websites of the nursing schools that might be of interest, as each school has slightly different requirements.
Students interested in nursing programs at one of Redeemer’s sister Christian institutions – Calvin College in the U.S. or Trinity Christian College in the U.S. or Trinity Western University in BC or Dordt College in the U.S. – should refer to the appropriate academic calendars.
Good preparation for the Pre-Nursing program should consider completing Grade 12 university-preparation courses in the following:
- Biology
- Chemistry
- Exercise Science
