Co-Curricular Activities

Each Religion and Theology student will have the opportunity to attend a Mission Study Center in Connecticut for course credit for two weeks in January to hear missionaries from around the world speak on various issues and topics.

We also host a number of public seminars throughout the year. Our students have the unique benefit of connecting with guest lecturers from other parts of the country and around the globe invited to speak at Redeemer. Many of our students are also involved in Kuyper’s Café, a student-run organization where the Christian worldview is examined as it relates to various areas of society and culture.

Perhaps you have a passion for ministry and want to get involved in the city and in another cultural context. The opportunities are endless for service in the Hamilton and greater Toronto areas throughout the school year. We want to help you develop your heart of outreach to underprivileged children, street youth, public schools, and immigrant/refugee families.

During breaks in the school year, our students have gone in teams to Montreal, Mississippi, Mexico, Central America, Amsterdam and Eastern Europe to serve abroad. Summer employment/placement opportunities in various sorts of Christian ministries are available as well.
