WorldCat Database (the OCLC Union Catalog)
The world's most comprehensive bibliography, with more than 48 million bibliographic records representing books and other materials (but not journal articles) in 400 languages. Covers information back to 2100 B.C. Includes holdings information from libraries across the world as well as records describing selected internet resources. Includes the Library of Congress Subject Headings as its thesaurus. Allows you to limit your search results to a specific library's holdings (e.g. Redeemer's or McMaster's).

This multi-disciplinary database contains indexing for over 8,000 publications covering virtually every area of academic study. More than 3,600 of these are peer-reviewed, full text journals.

With full-text articles from 240 periodicals.
