The world's most comprehensive and highest quality sociology research database. Its extensive scope and content provide users with a wealth of extremely useful information encompassing the broad spectrum of sociological study. SocINDEX with Full Text offers comprehensive coverage of sociology, encompassing all sub-disciplines and closely related areas of study. These include abortion, criminology & criminal justice, demography, ethnic & racial studies, gender studies, marriage & family, political sociology, religion, rural & urban sociology, social development, social psychology, social structure, social work, socio-cultural anthropology, sociological history, sociological research, sociological theory, substance abuse & other addictions, violence and many others. The world's most comprehensive bibliography, with more than 48 million bibliographic records representing books and other materials (but not journal articles) in 400 languages. Covers information back to 2100 B.C. Includes holdings information from libraries across the world as well as records describing selected internet resources. Includes the Library of Congress Subject Headings as its thesaurus. Allows you to limit your search results to a specific library's holdings (e.g. Redeemer's or McMaster's).

The PsycArticles database includes full text for all journals published by the American Psychological Association.

PsycInfo- American Psychological Association
The PsycInfo database from the American Psychological Association (APA), contains nearly 2.3 million citations and summaries of scholarly journal articles, book chapters, books, and dissertations, all in psychology and related disciplines, dating as far back as the 1800s. 97 percent of the covered material is peer-reviewed. Journal coverage, which spans 1887 to present, includes international material selected from more than 2,100 periodicals in more than 25 languages.
