The Christian Periodical Index® provides indexing for evangelical Christian journals providing both article and review indexing. Current indexing includes over 130 titles and over 250 journals are in the database. Currently, the database has indexing back to 1976. Although religion, theology, biblical studies and pastoral theology are prominent subjects in the journals indexed, it also tries to provide journals in the disciplines of science, literature, medicine, music, philosophy, history, sociology and education which put forth a Christian worldview. Coverage is representative of the major doctrinal positions within evangelical Christianity. The index is owned and indexed by the Association of Christian Librarians.

JSTOR offers a high-quality, interdisciplinary archive to support scholarship and teaching. It includes archives of over one thousand leading academic journals across the humanities, social sciences, and sciences, as well as select monographs and other materials valuable for academic work. Journals are always included from volume 1, issue 1 and include previous and related titles. The most recently published issues (past 3-5 years) are not available.

PsycInfo database from the American Psychological Association (APA), contains nearly 2.3 million citations and summaries of scholarly journal articles, book chapters, books, and dissertations, all in psychology and related disciplines, dating as far back as the 1800s. 97 percent of the covered material is peer-reviewed.
