Every September and February, program applications are sent  to your mailbox.  The application lists what (if any) programs you are currently in, and it also asks you to tell us if you would like to change your majors or minors.  Once you submit that application to the Registrar’s Office, your application will be reviewed and, once it is approved, you will receive a letter of confirmation.  Detailed information on this process can be found on page 49 in the Academic Calendar.

If you would like to change your major or minor at another time in the semester, please drop by the Registrar’s Office to make an appointment with one of our friendly advisors. They will be happy to review your program and fill out an application  for you.  If you meet all of the qualifications, you will receive approval on the spot.

For most minors, you must have a departmental GPA and a CGPA of 5.0 and have completed at least one course in the minor to be approved.  For most majors, a departmental GPA and CGPA of 5.0 is also required, as are two completed courses. Please see the Academic  Calendar for more details.

To ensure that an advisor will be available to help you when it suits your schedule, please contact us to book an appointment.  While we also welcome drop-ins, we cannot guarantee a short wait time.

Our office hours are Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday 9:00am-12:00pm and 1:00pm-4:00pm, and Wednesday 1:00pm-4:00pm.  We are closed on Wednesday mornings for staff meetings, inter-office meetings and paper work.
