Redeemer Final Exam Schedule:
Please check your exam schedule carefully to ensure that you do not miss your exam. Keep in mind that you must write the exam for the section of the course you are enrolled in.

Important Reminder:  You will not be permitted to move your exam due to work, vacation, plane flights, etc. See page 44 of the 2011/12 Academic Calendar for the full exam policy.

Missed Exams:  Please remember that a missed exam is considered a failed exam.  You can find the exact wording of this policy on page 44 of the 2011/12 Academic Calendar, but the essential guideline is that if you arrive at an exam more than 45 minutes after it has begun or you miss it completely, you will receive an "F" on that exam.

You are encouraged to double-check your exam schedule to make sure that you have it right.  The Registrar's Office has posted the exam schedule for you, and your instructors have announced in class your exam dates and times.  In addition, you may see your schedule by going onto WebAdvisor.  Especially if you are in a course with multiple sections (eg English 103, History 105), make sure that you have the exam date and time for your section.  Please note, as well, that if you are writing a take-home exam, the deadline for submitting your exam is equally as firm: failure to meet the deadline will result in an "F."

While an appeal process does exist for "extenuating circumstance," these are limited to truly serious reasons for missing an exam.

The top 4 ways to have a successful exam:

4. Try to leave as many bags and books at home, as you will need to leave them at the edge of the gym, and we cannot be responsible for them.

Pencil cases and purses must be left in the designated area at your own risk.

3. Dress in layers, as the gymnasium can be many different temperatures.

Coats must be left in the designated area.

2. Bring some good snacks and water – please do not bring a snack that may contain nuts or peanuts or has a noisy wrapper.

1. Check and double check the exam schedule, so that you know where to go. Get to your exam destination at least 5-10 minutes before it is scheduled to start.

Best wishes from the Registrar’s Office!
