Associate Vice President of Student Development and Registrar
Richard Wikkerink ext. 4298
B.A. Redeemer University College
M.Ed. University of Toronto
My job involves people, policy and process.  Ultimately, it's my job to apply the academic regulations of the institution, connect students and faculty into classrooms so courses can be taught, advise students, oversee the admission of new students, confirm for the Senate that students have met the degree program requirements, and ensure that student records are maintained accurately.  As a result, I spend a lot of time representing the work of the Registrar's Office at a wide variety of committees (such as the Academic Program and Policy Committee, the Academic Standards Committee, the Academic Affairs Committee) and communicating policy.  In addition, I head up the Continuing Education efforts and am heavily involved with an internship program in Sierra Leone.
