Admission Requirements

Applicants from the United States will be considered for admission based on the following requirements:

  • High School Diploma (or equivalent); minimum average of 65% or 2.0 GPA.

Student Study Permit Process

  • Please note that a student study permit is required for American students.
  • Citizens and legal residents of the United States are allowed to apply for student permits at their Canadian port of entry.
  • Applications for study permits are managed and evaluated by Citizenship & Immigration Canada (CIC). Redeemer provides the required documentation to CIC to complete the process.
  • Third-Party Transcript Evaluation: All final non-Canadian transcripts are required to undergo a third-party transcript evaluation through organizations such as World Education Services (www.wes.org) or ICAS (www.icascanada.ca) for any student who enrols at Redeemer University.
    • A final transcript consists of all final grades and a graduation or diploma date. Third-party evaluations for non-final, foreign transcripts at the point of admissions are not required at this time.
