Christian University Bursary
Needs-based bursaries of variable amounts are available to Canadian students whose resources fall short of their costs for the academic year.  Students must have applied for and know their entitlement for government student loans in order to qualify for this bursary.  Students are advised to apply by August 1 for maximum consideration.  Thereafter, awards will be granted as funds are available.
Application forms for the 2012-13 study period will be available in May.

Interest Relief Bursary

The Interest Relief Bursary is awarded to students who require a bank loan to help them finance their education. Awards are given on the basis of financial need and can range from $100 in the first year to $1,225 in the final year. The bursary was created to help students minimize any accumulated interest debt on a student bank loan or line of credit.  It is applied for at the end of your study period and is allocated after each study period is completed (May).
Deadline: March 2013 (obtain form from Financial Aid Office)

Other Bursaries
There are a number of other sources that you should consider, including your own and your parents' place of employment, church, business and any community organizations of which you may be a member. These places may offer bursaries to students pursuing post-secondary education.
