PART-TIME OCCASIONAL STUDENTS

Part-time Studies
Redeemer University College serves part-time as well as full-time students.  If you wish to work towards a degree on a part-time basis, you must seek admission and provide the same documentation required of full-time students:
If you do not plan to complete a degree, you should refer to the admission requirements for Continuing Education or Occasional Studies (see below).  The Consecutive Bachelor of Education Program permits part-time status for the first year only and requires full-time enrolment in the final year of the program.

Occcasional Studies
An occasional student is someone who takes one course per term but is not admitted to a degree program and does not have a university degree.  To apply, download the Occasional Studies Application Form (.pdf).

To be considered for this status, you must have fulfilled the requirements for mature student admission or be a secondary school graduate who gives evidence of the potential to complete undergraduate university courses successfully.  In the future, you may petition the university to apply the course(s) to a degree program if you decide to pursue part-time or full-time studies.

A student who is in the last or next to last term of secondary school may also be considered for this status, provided that you have an 80% average or more in advanced level or Grade 12U courses, the permission of your principal, and you are not using the course(s) for the completion of secondary school graduation requirements.
