Contemplating a transfer to Redeemer? As a transfer student, you will need to present a completed Undergradute Application for Admission
, as well as an official transcript from each post-secondary institution you have attended.
If you are transferring with fewer than 24 credit hours (8 courses) you will be considered for admission on the basis of your secondary school grades, while your post-secondary credits will be evaluated for possible transfer credits. For specific details about transfer credits, examine our transfer requirements chart
In order for your transcript(s) to be evaluated for transfer credits, you must first
submit a completed application package
and all required documentation. If you wish to seek transfer credits, you will need to submit course outlines for courses completed at other post-secondary institutions. Redeemer reserves the right to accept for transfer credit only courses that comply with the academic standards and policies established by the Senate.
The maximum number of courses that can be accepted for transfer credit from an undergraduate university institution is up to 30 courses towards a 40 course general program. The final 10 courses of the Four-Year General degree program and the final 20 courses of the Four-Year Major, Honours or Combined Honours degree programs must be completed at Redeemer. The grades received at another institution will not be incorporated in the CGPA for the work completed at Redeemer University College.
