Discover Your Imagination

At Redeemer, we recognize art-making and art-appreciation as an integral part of our Christian calling of cultural stewardship.

Visual arts is not only a vital part of creative expression; it is necessary for understanding the community we are a part of. Art has a tremendous power to challenge society, probe issues, and promote justice. Art equally arouses wonder, beauty and affirms the truth.

As you walk around Redeemer, you will discover a rich assortment of permanent artwork by local and international artists. Collaborative and solo exhibitions curated by students in the Redeemer Art Gallery are open year-round to the public. Here, respected visual artists, art theorists, students, alumni and faculty come together to dialogue with the community and explore new ways in which visual culture enriches our experience of creation and informs us about who we are in the image of our Creator.

Join us in the coming months as Redeemer proudly displays the creativity of a bevy of gifted artists! For a full list of upcoming arts & culture events at Redeemer, download the Fall 2009 Event Schedule.
