Intramurals

Intramural programs are designed to get everyone involved and active on a regular basis.  Intramurals provide a wide range of sports, games, and activities at various skill levels.  From beach volleyball and dodgeball to soccer and baseball, intramural sports provide a great opportunity for you to get together with friends and enjoy a variety of activities.

The Intramural program at Redeemer provides quality opportunities for participation in healthy competition through organized recreational sports. There are plenty of fun activities for everyone at Redeemer. The aim of the program is to provide opportunities for the Redeemer population to participate and have fun with their peers. The program offers a wide variety of games and activities that require low levels of commitment and time. The Athletic Department encourages all alumni, faculty, staff, and students to participate in intramurals and lead balanced healthy lifestyles.

Intramural activities include sports and activities such as indoor soccer, dodgeball, ball hockey, beach volleyball, basketaball, and european handball. Potential future activities and sports include broom ball, laser tag, paintball, minigolf, bowling, ice hockey, and lacrosse.

Intramurals is a great way to hang out with fellow students, laugh, sweat, play sports and build relationships!

Extramurals

Organized by the Ontario Colleges Committee for Campus Recreation, extramural sports give you the opportunity to compete against teams from other colleges, without the time and skill demands of varsity athletics.  Teams generally enter one tournament per season in sports ranging from co-ed volleyball and hockey, to indoor soccer and basketball.

The Extramurals Mission: To provide athletic sporting competition to non-varsity student athletes and encourage a fun, competitive venue to share the light of Christ.

Extramural Sports is a unique program offered at Redeemer University College, being both competitive and recreational.  Teams compete in OCAA Extramural tournaments as well as tournaments with our fellow Christian colleges in Ontario, spanning a variety of sports.  Being involved with Extramural Sports is a great way to be a witness for Christ, maintain a healthy active lifestyle, and enjoy athletic opportunities not offered by varsity or intramural sports.
