Textbook Orders

You can reserve textbooks by finding them on the Textbook List and sending an order to books@redeemer.ca. Books can be paid when they are picked up. Please indicate if you want a used copy if one is available.

Textbook Refund Policy

• All returns must be accompanied by a cash register receipt.
• Books must be in new condition, and unmarked. Shrink-wrap must be intact and CD or DVD pocket must be sealed.
• Refunds will be given for textbooks the first full week of classes only.
• No refunds will be given for used textbooks, lab manuals and course packs.
• After the first full week of classes, new textbooks can be returned until the end of the first month of classes if they meet the above criteria and are accompanied by a drop slip. A 10% restocking fee will apply.

Used book Buy-back Policy

Used texts can be sold back to the Bookstore if they are on the current semester book list until the day before the Student Life student-to-student book sale, or if they have been adopted by the faculty for the next semester. The bookstore buys the books back at 50% of the current purchase price. The bookstore will conduct this buyback during the months of August and November for the coming semesters and the during exams in April.

The bookstore also buys back used textbooks for used-book wholesalers at a price determined by the wholesaler. This is usually between 10% and 30% of the purchase price of the book and is dependent on the demand for the book. Bookstore will conduct the buyback for wholesalers at advertised times during the beginning of each semester and during exams in April.

Course packs and other custom course materials are not eligible for buy-back
