Food Drive
Redeemer University College's orientation program called LAUNCH 2011 is gearing up for another community food drive for the Neighbour to Neighbour Centre on Friday, September 9.  Last year we collected over 6700lbs of food (Click here to read more.) and this year our goal is 7500lbs.

One week before Friday, September 9th, over 80 students leaders will deliver 3000 paper bags to each residence in the meadowlands neighbourhood.  We ask that you place a few food items in this bag and place it in a visible place on your front porch  on Friday, September 9 between 5:30pm - 7:30pm.  We will be sending over 250 new students and leaders to collect filled bags from participating residences.

We encourage you to come together as the meadowlands community and assist with the good work that Neighbour to Neighbour is doing in Hamilton as well as welcome these new Redeemer students to Ancaster.   Neighbour to Neighbour is grateful for you generosity and Redeemer is grateful for this opportunity for our students to get to know the neighbourhood a little bit better.

Redeemer's Rec Centre will also be open from 6pm - 8pm collecting food if you would rather drop the food off at this location.   Take the Kitty Murray Lane entrance into campus at the round-about.   Take your second left into Calvin Court.   The Rec Centre is at the far right corner of the parking lot.

Few people would guess that organizing a graffiti competition would be part of an education at Redeemer; but for Jimmy Bender, it included just that.
