Redeemer offers counselling and support, within a Christian framework, to any student struggling with personal problems, emotional concerns, or lifestyle choices.  Individual and group counselling options are available, as well as work-shops and other special programs.

Redeemer hosts two professional counsellors during the week to help students with emotional/psychological issues. Miki Beldman has an office on campus (Room 245) and is available on Tuesdays (9am - 1pm) and Thursdays (9am - 4:30pm).  Christopher Lindsay is available at Redeemer on Thursdays (6pm - 8pm) and Saturdays (10am - noon).    Clients who use this service are responsible for their own financial arrangements with the counsellor. Some financial assistance may be available in cases of extreme financial duress. Students may also choose to meet with Chaplain Syd Hielema or Dean of Students, Fred Schat.

An experienced career counsellor is available to help students with their vocational or personal questions. Psychological testing services as an adjunct to this kind of counselling are also available. For more information, please see the Career Centre.
