City Kidz
Involved in providing a fun, entertaining and exciting atmosphere to 1000 children aged 3-12 that teaches positive attitudes and behaviours founded on Christian values and principles. City Kidz also offers a Jr. Leadership program that reaches out to 100 youth in the city. Our mission is to inspire by bringing hope, instill resiliency and impact the future of our City's Kidz!

Additional Notes: Micah House is a short-term home for refugee claimants in Hamilton. There are many opportunities for volunteers to interact with newcomers by, for example, cooking and sharing meals, helping around the house, taking guests to visit places in the Hamilton area, and generally developing friendships and connections with our guests.
Opportunity: Participating in the Christmas Hamper Program by helping distribute over 800 hampers to clients during December. Assembly of hampers begins in November and continues until the third week of December when distribution takes place.

Additional Notes: The Habitat for Huamnity ReStore sells new and used donated home improvement items. Proceeds go towards the administrative costs of Habitat Hamilton so that all monetary donations to the affiliate go directly to building houses for deserving famillies in Hamilton.
