You need to “look good” on paper before an employer will see you in person. Redeemer’s resume service will show you how.
Interview Training
Job interview coaching will help you prepare for your up-coming interview. Mock interview training can also be arranged.
Career Support Material and Seminars
Practical tips are available for resume writing, job search, interview skills, transition to the work place and applying to graduate school. See the Career Info rack in the Student Life Department. Seminars begin in January.
Service Learning Opportunities
Career-related experience will help you find your fit in the work world. Check out the volunteer opportunities in our “H2O”—Help To Others program.
3. Career Placement: Go!
On-Campus Recruiting
Throughout the school year many employers set up display tables in the main foyer. Visits are announced in “Time Out” and in some cases, on-campus interviews are arranged.
Campus Job Board & Website
Job ads are also posted and updated regularly on the job board. Basic information is recorded on a job posting; details are kept on file in a binder in the Student Life office.
Graduate Placement Service
If you’ll be graduating this May, tell us your interests on a placement survey. During the summer months, you’ll be emailed job openings which relate to your request.
