Redeemer offers 35+ majors and streams that lead to Bachelor of Arts, Bachelor of Business Administration, Bachelor of Science, Bachelor of Health Sciences, Bachelor of Kinesiology, Bachelor of Media and Communication Studies and Bachelor of Education degrees, as well as certificates and microcredentials to help meet the changing needs of students and the marketplace. The Redeemer community of nearly 1,100 students is served by approximately 200 expert, caring faculty and staff.
Reporting primarily to the Audio-Visual Manager (60%) and secondarily to the Director of Information Technology (40%), the Audio-Visual/IT Technician (AVT) plays a key support role in ensuring the reliable operation of the university’s AV and IT infrastructure. The AVT is responsible for assisting with the setup, operation, and maintenance of audio-visual systems across campus, including support for live events and performances. The role includes training student staff, coordinating AV support for events and instruction, and providing backup IT support for Help Desk and classroom technology issues.
The AVT also supports the Desktop Manager in preparing and deploying university-issued computers for faculty, staff, and instructional spaces.
