What are Learning Outcomes?
Learning Outcomes are “direct statements that describe the essential and enduring disciplinary knowledge, abilities, values and attitudes that students should possess, and the depth of learning that is expected, upon completion of a degree, program or course. They focus on transferrable knowledge, skills, attitudes and behaviour that can be observed and assessed, and are reflective of disciplinary contexts.”
We have two levels of Learning Outcomes: Program-level Learning Outcomes and Course-level Learning Outcomes.
