There’s no question that the Act Five program is a significant investment. There is a lot of value packed into eight months, and research shows that students who complete a gap year are often more successful in their post-secondary programs, more engaged in life beyond school, and more likely to find satisfying careers.
For the 4-week service trips in Act Five, whether to South Texas or Zambia, students are able to fundraise for this portion of the program. In partnership with either World Renew or EduDeo Ministries, donations received for these trips will receive a tax receipt.
Tuition & Fees – $10,500
Room and Board – $6,900
Service Trips (to be fundraised) – TBD by June 2020.
Texas with World Renew DRS ~$1500-$1800
Zambia with EduDeo Ministries ~$3500-$400
Due to the gifts of generous donors, we are grateful to be able to offer Financial Assistance based on individual need. If you are applying to Act Five and want to be considered for this, please complete our financial aid form by March 31st.
A $500 deposit is due by May 1, 2020 and will be non-refundable after June 15th, 2020. $350 of this deposit will be credited to the student’s fall term balance, while $150 will be held as a Damage Deposit until the completion of the program’s second term.
Payments can be made to Redeemer University by online banking, debit, or cheque. Questions regarding this payment schedule can be directed to business-office@redeemer.ca.
