Timing

T2202 forms for Redeemer students are available online through Student Self-service (selfservice.redeemer.ca) by the Friday before the February reading break of the following year. If you also received scholarships or bursaries or any employment income the applicable T4A or T4 form will also be available on Student Self-Service.  Instructions on accessing Student Self-Service to print your forms are provided below.

Description of tax receipts

The T2202 form reflects the total tuition that has been paid. If there is a tuition amount that is unpaid it will be included in a T2202 next year provided that a payment has been received. This form also includes the number of months of full-time or part-time studies at Redeemer.

The T4A form includes any scholarship and bursary income that you received on your account and may include some payments for services not included on the T4. You will not receive a T4A form if you received total income of less than $500.

The T4 form includes any employment income that you received.

Property tax credit

Any student who lives on-campus is eligible to claim $25 for the property tax credit for a student residence. Students who live on-campus (whether independent housing or dorms) are not eligible to claim rent paid for the property tax credit as Redeemer does not pay municipal taxes.

How to find your tax receipts

To Access Student Self-Service, go to selfservice.redeemer.ca and select the ‘Tax Information’ button.

Before you are able to view and print your T4A, you must provide electronic consent on Student Self-Service. If no consent is given, a copy will be mailed by the end of the month of February.
