Be part of The Ambitious City
Redeemer’s campus is located in the Greater Hamilton Area of Ontario, about an hour’s drive from Buffalo, NY and from downtown Toronto. Hamilton is one of Canada’s largest cities and a vibrant community that features lots of diverse neighbourhoods, shops and sports teams. Many students take part in Hamilton’s monthly Art Crawls, and Redeemer Art faculty and alumni recently opened a studio downtown to showcase their work.
Like most big cities, Hamilton has plenty of needs, and Redeemer students have been making an impact here for 30 years. One way students get involved is by working with various church youth groups in CrossCulture, a one-day service project that introduces students to Hamilton community organizations.
Hamilton is also full of natural beauty. Located on the Niagara Escarpment, Hamilton is known as the waterfall capital of the world and has miles of hiking trails and hundreds of acres of conservation lands.
The Ancaster Meadowlands shopping and entertainment district is within walking distance of the campus, while downtown Hamilton is twenty minutes by bus from the campus.
