This final-year course integrates all major domains of financial planning through advanced case-based analysis, applied analytics and engagement with a studentmanaged investment fund (SMIF). Students synthesize knowledge from retirement, tax, insurance, estate and investment planning to develop and manage comprehensive financial plans for complex client scenarios. Through a structured stewardship practicum, students analyze portfolio performance, assess risk, and generate evidence-based investment recommendations using quantitative tools and real market data. Emphasis is placed on professional judgment, ethical decision-making, fiduciary responsibility, and values-informed advising consistent with CFP standards of practice, while integrating client goals, behavioural considerations, and intergenerational legacy planning to prepare graduates for thoughtful, client-centered financial practice.
