Tolkien enthusiasts gathered for A Flame Imperishable: The Christian Legacy of J.R.R. Tolkien, the two-day academic conference celebrating the life, literary works and Christian faith of the renowned author. The conference also included an insightful evening lecture by Dr. Louis Markos, an English professor and scholar-in-residence at Houston Christian University, hosted by the Albert M. Wolters Centre for Christian Scholarship.

This week marks the start of Focus on Wellness at Redeemer!

The schedule kicked off with a Wellness themed Chapel yesterday morning, welcoming speakers Dr. Michael Strating and Allan Gallant. Students, faculty and staff were then able to learn about the on-campus resources that are available to them at the Wellness Fair, as well as take part in Wellness Wednesday activities like building Legos, putting together puzzles and collage-making.
