Topics include representations and nomenclature of organic molecules, resonance, hybrid orbitals and covalent bonding in organic molecules, Lewis acids and bases, conformations, stereochemistry, reaction mechanisms, substitution and elimination reactions, reactions of alkenes, retrosynthesis strategies, gas chromatography, NMR, and infrared spectroscopy.
