Join Redeemer University in honouring the legacy and foundational work of Dr. Albert M. Wolters for the launch of the Albert M. Wolters Centre for Christian Scholarship. This event will be keynoted by Dr. Gayle Doornbos, one of Redeemer’s and Dr. Wolters’ prestigious alumni and assistant professor of theology at Dordt University. Her address, “Capacious, Conditioned Curiosity: A Neo-Calvinist Vision for Christian Scholarship,” will be followed by remarks from Dr. Wolters and the presentation of the prize for a student essay competition focused on the recognition and application of Dr. Wolters’ work on the Reformed worldview.
The events will begin at 3:30 p.m. on September 30, 2022, in the Executive Dining Room. Join us to celebrate and hear about the centre’s new and ongoing initiatives as we seek to cultivate, build, and leverage the Reformed tradition for Christian scholarship and the common good.
