Join Redeemer University for a free evening lecture hosted by the Albert. M. Wolters Centre for Christian Scholarship about the life, writings and faith of renowned fiction author J.R.R. Tolkien.

The lecture will be delivered by Dr. Louis Markos, professor in English and scholar in residence at Houston Christian University, who also holds the Robert H. Ray chair in humanities. He has published more than 25 books, including On the Shoulders of Hobbits: The Road to Virtue with Tolkien and Lewis, From A to Z to Middle-Earth with J. R. R. Tolkien and Tolkien for Beginners.

This lecture is part of A Flame Imperishable: The Christian Legacy of J.R.R. Tolkien, as well as the Wolters Lecture Series.
