New Horizons is a day at Redeemer for the young-at-heart!

Hear an engaging presentation by a member of Redeemer’s faculty, enjoy a delicious hot lunch and be entertained by student musicians. A closing reception allows time to connect with grandchildren or other Redeemer students you may know. Registration opens at 9:00 a.m; the program for the day begins at 10:00 a.m.



  • Morning program: Renewing the Earth Through the Poetic Imagination

Dr. Deborah Bowen, Professor of English Emerita, believes poetry has a lot to offer. With several senior Redeemer students, she has been working on The Poetry and Ecology Project for the past couple of years and will share some of her results with you in her presentation.
