Can church history still impact the way we lead churches in the present? The Enlightenment critique of tradition called into question the value of studying and learning the past. This led to widespread amnesia in 20th century Western culture in knowing how to read history. But what do we stand to lose when we cut ourselves off from our foundations and stories?

Recent events are rekindling a recognition that the past informs and shapes our present. But do we have the tools to engage in reading history in a way that provides light for the path of the faithful believer? Join Dr. Michael Haykin, visiting professor of history, to learn how church leaders can benefit from exploring church history to better understand and engage the present.

Registration will be available closer to the event.
