What has Detroit got to do with Jerusalem? Now more than ever, we are aware of the polarization between boardrooms and job sites. Christians are rightly concerned about rising inequality and a fraying social fabric. Can we find in the stories of saints who have gone before not just reasons but resources to restore friendship between church and labour?

Join us on January 23, 2019, as Dr. Heath Carter delivers the latest World and Our Calling lecture, “Which Side Are You On?” Dr. Carter is a world-recognized religious historian, a widely published academic and an activist scholar who practices the social Christianity that he preaches.

Heath Carter is the winner of Redeemer’s 2018 Emerging Public Intellectual Award. The World and Our Calling lecture series explores the facets of Christian calling to be engaged with our culture.
