Who’s in the Pew? Understanding the Current Culture and How We Got Here
Thursday April 24, 2025
11:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m.
Speaker: Dr. David Zietsma

Redeemer University
777 Garner Road East Ancaster ON L9K 1J4
Executive Dining Room (EDR)

It is no secret that we have experienced significant shifts in cultural values, the place of faith in society and the pervasive impact of technology on everyday life. How are these changes directly impacting people, communities and the church today, and what is the best way to understand them?

This talk by Dr. David Zietsma will trace the threads of ideological and cultural change over the last century and explore their impact on common understandings of human identity, personhood and truth. By tying these threads together with the digital revolution, we can better discern the commonly shared worldview at work in the culture around us, a worldview that is actively impacting congregations today. In response, we can begin to discern a Biblical, grounded approach to key cultural issues.

Event includes a free, catered lunch.
