Daniella Pacenza joins the Education Department at Redeemer University College as a sessional professor, with experience as both a classroom teacher and university educator. Having worked in public, independent and post-secondary environments, Daniella’s work with Teacher Candidates is rooted in deeply understanding teaching as a vocational calling. Areas of special interest are in second and subsequent language acquisition, assessment practices in early education, as well as curricular transitioning between Kindergarten and first grade. Previously, Daniella worked as a classroom teacher at Hillfield Strathallan College, and in the Department of Modern Languages, Literatures and Culture as well as the Department of Teacher Education at Brock University.
