About

Helen Vreugdenhil teaches humanities and history courses at Redeemer, covering both introductory and specialized courses.  She is interested in many aspects of history, particularly in the history and consequences of empire, the world religions and the history of Africa. Helen has taught courses at the University of Toronto and Trent University, and also has experience writing and editing for various publications.  She enjoys travel, reading and time spent with family and friends.
