About
Wes Peel’s photography is a hybrid of analog and digital methods. He values the discipline and attentiveness required of darkroom processes while embracing contemporary digital tools as part of an evolving practice. He has a particular interest in nineteenth-century photographic processes—particularly cyanotype and platinum palladium—and how these traditional methods can be reworked in a contemporary context.
