Courses

In addition to the four courses listed below, any six electives may be selected to complete the ten-course requirement, subject to year level and prerequisite requirements.

Admission Requirements and Cost

• Successful completion of four Grade 12 U/M courses (including Grade 12 U English) with a minimum average of 70%; or
• Mature student status (minimum of two Grade 12 U/M courses with a minimum average of 70%)

If students successfully complete the Certificate in Liberal Arts and apply for the undergraduate
degree program (as noted above), the following requirements are in effect:

• A cumulative GPA of 4.0 (C-/60%) will result in admission to the Four-Year General
  degree program. Admission to a particular major will require that any high school
  prerequisite courses have been met.
• For admission into Program-Specific or Honours degree programs, students must have a
  cumulative GPA of 7.0 (B-/70%) in the certificate program. Admission to a particular
  major will require that any high school prerequisite courses have been met.
