Redeemer students in Kinesiology, Physical Education, Psychology, and Applied Social Science majors can complete the intensive recreation therapy program in the winter semester of their third year and the summer before their final year at Redeemer. Recreation therapy provides service to, and advocates for, individuals with physical, mental, social, behavioural, or emotional limitations through meaningful experiences in recreation and leisure in a variety of settings.

Recreation Therapy is a dual enrolment option offered in partnership with Mohawk College. Upon graduation students will have completed both a Bachelor's degree and a diploma.
