The Centre for Christian Scholarship

DISTINCTLY CHRISTIAN SCHOLARSHIP FOR THE COMMON GOOD

Redeemer faculty are contributing to a growing swell of Christian scholarship that offers a distinct voice in academia and has a positive impact on everyday lives. Redeemer’s new Centre for Christian Scholarship supports faculty research with over $25,000 annually in research grants and works to put Redeemer’s researchers at the forefront of public conversation.

The Through lecture series and conferences featuring influential Christian public thinkers, Redeemer faculty, students and community members encounter new ways to think about their faith, their culture and God’s world.

Initiative Progress

Goal $700,000
“Redeemer is part of a movement in Christian higher education, theologically rooted and philosophically serious, to tackle these challenges from within the life of the Gospel. This is deadly serious work because without the kind of faithful research we are a part of, we will continue to put ‘our people’ in places of power, but they won’t be the image-bearers the world needs.”

Dr. Robert Joustra

Director of the Centre for Christian Scholarship
